Chile: Business confidence increases in December
Latest reading: Business confidence rose to 52.1 in January, from December’s 45.3. January’s print marked the strongest reading since January 2022.
In January, businesses grew more optimistic about the retail sector (+57.6 vs +53.6 in December), the construction sector (+42.0 vs +37.0 in December), the mining sector (+63.8 vs +42.6 in December) and the industrial sector (+47.5 vs +45.1 in December).
