Croatia: Economic sentiment deteriorates in February
Latest reading: Economic sentiment declined to 105.9 in February, following January’s 106.3. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In February, sentiment worsened in the industrial sector (-0.2 vs +1.4 in January), the construction sector (+13.0 vs +13.5 in January) and the services sector (+21.2 vs +22.0 in January). On the flipside, sentiment turned more upbeat in the retail sector (+12.5 vs +1.1 in January) and among consumers (-8.3 vs -9.3 in January).
