Croatia: Economic sentiment declines in January
Latest reading: Economic sentiment fell to 106.3 in January, following December’s 107.9. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In January, sentiment worsened in the industrial sector (+1.4 vs +4.8 in December), the construction sector (+13.5 vs +14.2 in December), the retail sector (+0.8 vs +8.6 in December) and among consumers (-9.4 vs -8.1 in December). However, sentiment improved in the services sector (+21.9 vs +17.5 in December).
