Croatia: Industrial production loses steam in December
Latest reading: Industrial production was up 4.5% in working day adjusted year-on-year terms in December, following 8.7% growth in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, the readings worsened in December for manufacturing (+6.3% on a working day adjusted year-on-year basis vs +10.6% in November) and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-6.0% vs -0.3% in November). In contrast, readings improved for mining and quarrying (0% vs -5.1% in November).
On a working day and seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production was up 1.2% in December, following a 0.6% rise in the previous month.
