Croatia: Industrial production gains steam in November
Latest reading: Industrial production was up 8.8% in working day adjusted year-on-year terms in November, following 5.5% growth in the previous month. November’s reading was the strongest since May 2021.
Relative to the previous month’s data, the reading for manufacturing improved in November (+10.6% on a working day adjusted year-on-year basis vs +5.5% in October). In contrast, readings worsened for mining and quarrying (-5.1% vs -1.4% in October) and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-0.3% vs +9.3% in October).
On a working day and seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production was up 1.1% in November, following a 3.1% rise in the previous month.
