Croatia: Inflation accelerates in November from October
Latest reading: Harmonized consumer prices increased 4.3% in annual terms in November, following a 4.0% increase in the prior month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, there were higher price pressures for transportation (+0.1% on a year-on-year basis vs -0.8% in October), housing and utilities (+9.7% vs +9.4% in October), recreation (+3.8% vs +3.0% in October) and restaurants and hotels (+8.7% vs +8.4% in October). In contrast, price pressures reduced for food and non-alcoholic beverages in November (+4.1% vs +4.4% in October).
Meanwhile, consumer prices rose 3.8% in November, following a 3.7% increase in the previous month.
Lastly, harmonized consumer prices rose 0.27% in November on a month-on-month basis, following a 0.18% rise in the prior month.
