Cyprus: Industrial production accelerates in November
Latest reading: Industrial production was up 10.5% on a calendar-adjusted year-on-year basis in November—well above the bloc average—following a 3.8% rise in the prior month. November’s reading was the strongest since May 2021.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, readings in November improved for manufacturing (+11.9% in annual terms vs +4.8% in October), electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-0.2% vs -3.4% in October) and mining and quarrying (+35.8% vs +6.2% in October).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production rose 1.8% in November, following a 0.2% increase in the previous month.
