Cyprus: Industrial production slows in December
Latest reading: Industrial production was up 3.6% in calendar-adjusted year-on-year terms in December, following a 9.8% rise in the prior month.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, readings in December worsened for manufacturing (+4.5% on a calendar-adjusted year-on-year basis vs +11.2% in November), electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-1.5% vs -0.9% in November) and mining and quarrying (-5.1% vs +35.8% in November).
On a seasonally and calendar-adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production declined 1.1% in December, following 1.4% growth in the prior month.
