Germany: Merchandise trade surplus increases in October
Latest reading: In October, the trade balance was EUR +16.9 billion, following a EUR +15.3 billion figure in the previous month. Over the last 12 months, the trade balance summed to EUR +208.8 billion.
Exports rose 0.1% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in October, coming on the back of a 1.5% increase in the prior month. Imports fell 1.2% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in October, following 3.1% growth in the previous month.
