Greece: Economic sentiment increases in February
Latest reading: Economic sentiment rose to 107.7 in February, following January’s 105.4. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In February, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (+4.3 vs +2.8 in January), the construction sector (+30.2 vs +21.0 in January), the services sector (+32.8 vs +31.4 in January) and among consumers (-49.2 vs -50.3 in January). However, sentiment worsened in the retail sector (+9.8 vs +10.8 in January).
