Greece: Industrial production loses momentum in October
Latest reading: Industrial production rose 0.7% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in October, following 5.0% growth in the previous month.
Relative to the prior month’s data, readings in October worsened for manufacturing (-2.4% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms vs +6.9% in September), water supply (-3.7% vs +2.3% in September) and mining and quarrying (0.0% vs +1.8% in September). In contrast, the reading for electricity supply improved in October (+14.0% vs +3.7% in September).
In working day adjusted year-on-year terms, industrial production rose 6.4% in October, following a 7.3% increase in the previous month.
