Kuwait: Kuwait crude output increases in November
Latest reading: Kuwait oil output rose to 2.56 mbpd (million barrels per day) in November from 2.55 mbpd in October. The November figure was the highest since the end of 2023, buoyed by OPEC+ quota hikes. Oil production rose 6.1% year on year in November, the sixth consecutive month of growth following over two years of contractions.
Outlook: Oil production should pick up further in December but could then plateau in Q1 2026 due to the pause to OPEC+ quota hikes. That said, oil output in Q1 will still be significantly higher year on year.
