Lithuania: Economic sentiment falls in February
Latest reading: Economic sentiment dropped to 103.4 in February, following January’s 104.4. Still, the latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In February, sentiment worsened in the industrial sector (-5.2 vs -4.8 in January), the services sector (+6.0 vs +8.7 in January), the retail sector (+7.7 vs +8.2 in January) and among consumers (+0.7 vs +1.3 in January). On the flipside, sentiment improved in the construction sector (-6.0 vs -8.0 in January).
