Lithuania: Industrial production accelerates in October
Latest reading: Industrial production rose 1.8% on a year-on-year basis in October, following a 0.2% increase in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, readings in October improved for manufacturing (+1.4% in annual terms vs -0.1% in September) and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning (+9.4% vs +5.4% in September). In contrast, the reading for mining and quarrying worsened in October (+2.6% vs +3.9% in September).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production was down 0.5% in October, following a 2.0% drop in the prior month.
