Latest reading: Economic sentiment increased to 101.1 in November, following October’s 91.6. As a result, the index moved above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In November, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (-18.7 vs -28.7 in October) and among consumers (-6.1 vs -10.0 in October). On the flipside, sentiment worsened in the construction sector (-18.2 vs -13.9 in October).
