Netherlands: Industrial production contracts in November
Latest reading: Industrial production declined 0.4% in working day and seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in November, following a 0.5% increase in the prior month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, readings in November worsened for manufacturing (-0.5% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms vs +0.4% in October), mining and quarrying (-0.7% vs +10.5% in October) and water collection and distribution (-2.8% vs -0.9% in October).
In calendar-adjusted year-on-year terms, industrial production rose 2.2% in November, following a 3.9% rise in the prior month.
