Poland: Industrial production shrinks in November
Latest reading: Industrial production declined 1.1% in annual terms in November, following 3.3% growth in the previous month. November’s reading was the weakest since February 2025.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, readings in November worsened for manufacturing (-1.4% in annual terms vs +3.3% in October) and electricity, gas and utilities (-2.1% vs +1.2% in October). In contrast, the reading for mining and quarrying improved in November (+4.8% vs +4.0% in October).
In seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms, industrial production was down 3.1% in November, following a 1.0% drop in the prior month.
