Romania: Inflation stabilizes in November from the prior month
Latest reading: Consumer prices were up 9.8% in annual terms in November, unchanged from the prior month’s reading.
Relative to the previous month’s data, price pressures were higher for services in November (+11.0% in annual terms vs +10.5% in October). In contrast, price pressures reduced for non-food goods in November (+10.7% vs +11.0% in October). Finally, the change in food prices was the same as in the prior month (+7.6% in November and October).
Finally, consumer prices rose 0.42% in November on a month-on-month basis, following a 0.50% rise in the prior month.
