Slovakia: Economic sentiment improves in November
Latest reading: Economic sentiment increased to 91.5 in November, following October’s 88.7. Consequently, the index remained below the long-term average of 100, pointing to a muted near-term outlook for the economy.
In November, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (-8.9 vs -10.9 in October), the construction sector (-3.1 vs -4.0 in October), the services sector (+4.6 vs -4.8 in October) and the retail sector (+11.9 vs +8.7 in October). On the flipside, sentiment worsened in consumer sentiment (-23.7 vs -23.2 in October).
