Slovakia: Industrial production falls in October
Latest reading: Industrial production declined 3.7% in annual terms in October, following a 0.6% increase in the prior month.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, readings in October worsened for manufacturing (-2.3% on a year-on-year basis vs +2.2% in September), mining and quarrying (-3.9% vs +2.4% in September) and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-15.5% vs -14.3% in September).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production fell 2.5% in October, following a 3.2% rise in the previous month.
