Slovenia: Inflation decelerates in November from October
Latest reading: Harmonized consumer prices increased 2.3% on a year-on-year basis in November, following a 3.1% rise in the prior month. November’s reading was the lowest in five months.
Relative to the prior month’s data, there were reduced price pressures for food and non-alcoholic beverages (+5.1% in annual terms vs +6.7% in October), transportation (-1.1% vs +0.2% in October), housing and utilities (+4.2% vs +4.3% in October), recreation (+1.3% vs +1.9% in October) and restaurants and hotels (+4.2% vs +5.1% in October).
Meanwhile, consumer prices rose 2.3% in November, following a 3.1% increase in the previous month.
Lastly, harmonized consumer prices were unchanged in November on a month-on-month basis, following a 0.10% increase in the prior month.
