Spain: Industrial production speeds up in November
Latest reading: Industrial production increased 1.0% on a working day and seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis in November, following 0.6% growth in the previous month. November’s reading was the strongest since December 2024.
Relative to the prior month’s data, readings in November improved for consumer goods (+0.7% in working day and seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms vs -0.4% in October), capital goods (+0.9% vs -0.5% in October), intermediate goods (+0.5% vs +0.1% in October) and energy (+0.9% vs +0.7% in October).
On a working day and seasonally adjusted year-on-year basis, industrial production increased 4.5% in November, following 1.2% growth in the prior month.
