Spain: Merchandise trade deficit deepens in November
Latest reading: In November, the trade balance was EUR -5.7 billion, compared to the previous month’s reading of EUR -4.7 billion. Over the last 12 months, the trade balance summed to EUR -55.6 billion.
Exports fell 1.2% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in November, coming on the back of a 0.3% rise in the prior month. Imports increased 4.7% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in November, coming on the back of a 2.5% fall in the previous month.
