Giovanni Sbattella is an Associate Economist at FocusEconomics. He is responsible for producing macroeconomic analysis and special content across a range of countries, currently covering Italy, the Czech Republic, Singapore, South Korea, and Vietnam. He holds a Master’s degree in Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets from the Barcelona School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from UCSC Milan. Giovanni specializes in nowcasting models and has a strong background in applied macroeconomic research.
