Bulgaria: Economic sentiment drops in November
Latest reading: Economic sentiment dropped to 101.5 in November, following October’s 101.6. November’s reading was the lowest since January 2023. Still, the index remained above the long-term average of 100, pointing to an upbeat near-term outlook for the economy.
In November, sentiment worsened in the construction sector (+2.3 vs +2.6 in October) and the services sector (+10.3 vs +11.1 in October). On the flipside, sentiment turned more upbeat in the industrial sector (-1.1 vs -1.9 in October), the retail sector (+15.7 vs +11.1 in October) and among consumers (-23.4 vs -23.9 in October).
