Bulgaria: Industrial production falls at a softer clip in December
Latest reading: Industrial production fell 5.7% on a year-on-year basis in December, following a 10.6% drop in the prior month.
Relative to the prior month’s figures, the reading for manufacturing improved in December (-0.1% in annual terms vs -6.3% in November). In contrast, the reading for mining softened in December (-21.2% vs +13.2% in November).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production rose 0.3% in December, following a 1.4% fall in the prior month.
