Bulgaria: Industrial production falls at softer clip in September
Latest reading: Industrial production declined 3.9% in annual terms in September, following a 10.6% fall in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, the reading for manufacturing improved in September (+2.3% in annual terms vs -7.0% in August). In contrast, the reading for mining softened in September (-17.8% vs -6.7% in August).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production was up 3.3% in September, following 0.3% growth in the prior month.
