Bulgaria: Industrial production shrinks more quickly in October
Latest reading: Industrial production fell 7.6% on a year-on-year basis in October, following a 4.1% drop in the prior month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, the reading for manufacturing worsened in October (-6.4% on a year-on-year basis vs +2.1% in September). In contrast, the reading for mining improved in October (-11.9% vs -17.8% in September).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production fell 2.1% in October, following a 2.9% increase in the previous month.
