Croatia: Industrial production falls in September
Latest reading: Industrial production declined 0.1% on a calendar-adjusted year-on-year basis in September, following a 3.0% rise in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, readings in September softened for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-14.3% in working day adjusted year-on-year terms vs -6.8% in August) and manufacturing (+3.2% vs +6.2% in August). In contrast, the reading for mining and quarrying improved in September (-2.5% vs -10.8% in August).
On a working day and seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production rose 0.5% in September, following a 0.1% rise in the previous month.
