Cyprus: Industrial production decelerates in October
Latest reading: Industrial production was up 3.3% on a calendar-adjusted year-on-year basis in October, following 4.2% growth in the prior month.
Relative to the prior month’s data, the reading for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply worsened in October (-0.1% on a year-on-year basis vs +5.3% in September). In contrast, readings picked up for manufacturing (+4.1% vs +3.8% in September) and mining and quarrying (-1.7% vs -2.6% in September).
On a seasonally and calendar-adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production was up 0.1% in October, following 1.2% growth in the prior month.
