Denmark: Inflation is unchanged in November from the prior month
Latest reading: Consumer prices rose 2.1% in annual terms in November, stable from the previous month’s reading.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, price pressures were higher for clothing and footwear in November (-0.6% in annual terms vs -0.8% in October). In contrast, there were milder price pressures for housing and utilities (+1.2% vs +1.5% in October), transportation (+1.4% vs +1.5% in October) and food and non-alcoholic beverages (+3.5% vs +4.5% in October).
Meanwhile, core consumer prices increased 2.3% in annual terms in November, stable from the previous month’s reading.
Lastly, consumer prices were down 0.33% in November in month-on-month terms, following a 0.41% increase in the previous month.
