Estonia: Industrial output growth slows in April
Latest reading: Industrial output increased 1.5% year on year in seasonally and calendar-adjusted terms in April (March: +3.5% yoy). Looking at the details of the release, mining output contracted, while manufacturing production increased at a faster pace in April, and mining and quarrying output fell at a softer rate.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rebounded, rising 1.0% in April (March: -0.9% mom s.a.). Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 2.1%, down from March’s minus 2.0% reading.
