Estonia: Industrial production loses momentum in January
Latest reading: Industrial production was up 3.4% on a working-day and seasonally adjusted year-on-year basis in January, following a 4.2% increase in the prior month.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, the reading for mining and quarrying worsened in January (+10.7% in annual terms vs +66.4% in December). In contrast, the reading for manufacturing improved in January (+3.0% vs +1.8% in December).
In seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms, industrial production fell 0.9% in January, following a 1.0% drop in the prior month.
