Lithuania: Economic sentiment declines in March
Latest reading: Economic sentiment declined to 101.2 in March, following February’s 103.2. Still, the latest reading remained above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy and it was the lowest since March 2025.
In March, sentiment worsened in the services sector (-1.2 vs +5.8 in February), the retail sector (+5.8 vs +7.5 in February) and among consumers (-2.7 vs +0.6 in February). On the flipside, sentiment brightened in the industrial sector (-5.2 vs -5.4 in February) and the construction sector (-4.6 vs -5.7 in February).
