Lithuania: Industrial production accelerates in December
Latest reading: Industrial production was up 3.6% in annual terms in November, following 2.1% growth in the prior month.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, readings in December improved for manufacturing (+5.0% on a year-on-year basis vs +1.3% in November) and mining and quarrying (+5.8% vs -1.9% in November). In contrast, the reading worsened for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning (-12.2% vs -3.3% in November).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production fell 0.3% in December, following a 2.3% rise in the prior month.
