Panama: Economic activity gains steam in October
Latest reading: Economic activity was up 4.8% on a year-on-year basis in October, following a 4.7% increase in the previous month. October’s reading was the strongest since March 2025 and was aided by stronger activity in transport, construction, trade and hospitality.
On a month-on-month basis, economic activity rose 5.0% in October, following a 3.5% increase in the prior month.
