Panama: Economic activity speeds up in September
Latest reading: Economic activity increased 4.7% on a year-on-year basis in September, following a 1.6% increase in the previous month. Output expanded in the transport, construction and hospitality sectors, while activity in agriculture, trade and manufacturing declined.
On a month-on-month basis, economic activity was up 3.5% in September, following a 0.8% drop in the prior month.
