Poland: Economic sentiment rises in January
Latest reading: Economic sentiment went up to 103.2 in January, following December’s 100.3. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy and it was the highest since December 2021.
In January, sentiment brightened in the industrial sector (-14.1 vs -15.4 in December), the services sector (-1.3 vs -1.9 in December), the retail sector (-0.6 vs -1.7 in December) and among consumers (+1.5 vs -1.4 in December). Sentiment in the construction sector was unchanged from December at -16.5.
