Poland: Economic sentiment declines in March
Latest reading: Economic sentiment dropped to 100.8 in March from February’s 101.1. That said, the latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In March, sentiment worsened in the industrial sector (-15.0 vs -14.4 in February) and the services sector (-2.3 vs -1.6 in February). However, sentiment improved in the construction sector (-15.4 vs -16.1 in February), the retail sector (-0.6 vs -0.7 in February) and among consumers (-2.0 vs -3.1 in February).
