Poland: Industrial production rebounds in February
Latest reading: Industrial production was up 1.5% on a year-on-year basis in February, following a 1.5% decline in the previous month.
Relative to the prior month’s data, readings in February improved for mining and quarrying (+19.6% on a year-on-year basis vs +5.4% in January) and manufacturing (+0.2% vs -3.2% in January). In contrast, the reading for electricity, gas and utilities softened in February (+13.5% vs +18.2% in January).
In seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms, industrial production was up 0.6% in February, following a 2.5% fall in the prior month.
