Poland: Industrial production decelerates in October
Latest reading: Industrial production increased 3.2% in annual terms in October, following a 7.6% rise in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, the reading for manufacturing worsened in October (+3.2% on a year-on-year basis vs +8.4% in September). In contrast, readings improved for mining and quarrying (+3.9% vs -1.9% in September) and electricity, gas and utilities (+1.4% vs -2.3% in September).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production was down 1.1% in October, following 4.1% growth in the prior month.
