Latest reading: Industrial production rose 0.4% in annual terms in September, following a 0.2% rise in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, the reading for energy improved in September (-0.2% in annual terms vs -0.9% in August). In contrast, the reading for manufacturing worsened in September (+4.0% vs +6.6% in August).
