Saudi Arabia: Inflation slows in November from October
Latest reading: Consumer prices increased 1.9% in annual terms in November, following a 2.2% rise in the previous month. November’s reading was the weakest since February 2025.
Relative to the previous month’s data, there were milder price pressures for food and non-alcoholic beverages (+1.3% in annual terms vs +1.5% in October), housing and utilities (+4.3% vs +4.5% in October), transport (+1.5% vs +1.6% in October) and recreation and entertainment (+1.3% vs +2.4% in October). Finally, the change in clothing and footwear prices was the same as in the prior month (+0.3% in November and October).
Lastly, consumer prices increased 0.07% in November on a month-on-month basis, following a 0.28% rise in the previous month.
