Serbia: Industrial production shrinks more quickly in December
Latest reading: Industrial production was down 5.7% on a year-on-year basis in December, following a 3.4% fall in the previous month. December’s reading was the weakest since March 2024 and was due to a sharper fall in manufacturing. Meanwhile, mining plus electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply gained steam.
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production declined 4.4% in December, following a 1.6% decline in the previous month.
