Serbia: Industrial production accelerates in September
Latest reading: Industrial production rose 2.5% on a year-on-year basis in September, following a 0.4% increase in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, the reading for manufacturing improved in September (+2.4% in annual terms vs -1.7% in August). In contrast, readings worsened for mining and quarrying (+0.6% vs +6.6% in August) and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (+4.5% vs +8.5% in August).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production rose 1.1% in September, following a 2.7% drop in the previous month.
