Slovenia: Economic sentiment turns positive after over three years
Latest reading: Economic sentiment increased to 100.3 in November, following October’s 98.9. November’s reading was the highest since April 2022. Consequently, the index stepped above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In November, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (-4.4 vs -7.0 in October), the construction sector (+15.1 vs +10.4 in October), the retail sector (+12.8 vs +11.7 in October) and consumer sentiment (-24.1 vs -25.1 in October). On the flipside, sentiment darkened in the services sector (+15.0 vs +16.7 in October).
