Slovenia: Economic sentiment rises in March
Latest reading: Economic sentiment increased to 98.5 in March, following February’s 97.5. The latest reading was below the long-term average of 100, pointing to a muted near-term outlook for the economy.
In March, sentiment improved in the services sector (+14.2 vs +13.9 in February) and the retail sector (+14.5 vs +7.6 in February). On the flipside, sentiment worsened in the construction sector (+6.7 vs +7.6 in February) and among consumers (-22.2 vs -22.0 in February). Sentiment in the industrial sector was stable from the prior month at -7.8.
