Spain: Economic sentiment worsens in December
Latest reading: Economic sentiment fell to 104.6 in December, following November’s 105.1. As a result, the index moved further closer to the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive, albeit weaker near-term outlook for the economy.
In November, sentiment worsened in the industrial sector (-3.6 vs -4.4 in November), the construction sector (+19.2 vs +22.0 in November) and among consumers (-1.7 vs -0.7 in November).
