Turkey: Economic sentiment rises in November
Latest reading: Economic sentiment rose to 99.6 in November, following October’s 99.0. November’s reading was the highest since May 2023. However, the reading was still below the long-term average of 100.
In November, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (+1.0 vs -0.1 in October), the construction sector (-14.6 vs -16.1 in October), the services sector (+20.9 vs +20.7 in October) and among consumers (-15.3 vs -16.5 in October). Sentiment in the retail sector was unchanged from October at +14.0.
