Turkey: Industrial output bounces back in March
Latest reading: Industrial output increased 3.4% in month-on-month seasonally adjusted terms in March, which contrasted February’s 1.6% decrease. The rebound came on the back of recoveries in manufacturing and mining and quarrying output.
On an annual basis, industrial production grew 2.4% in March, contrasting February’s 1.9% fall. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 0.7% in March, down from February’s minus 0.6% reading.
